North County Humane Society gratefully thanks local radio stations KVEC out of San Luis Obispo, and KPRL out of Paso Robles, for providing regular opportunities to appear on the Dave Congalton and Dick Mason shows, respectively.
Every month, on the 3rd Friday from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m., a Shelter cat is featured on the Dave Congalton show on KVEC 920 AM. In the last twelve months, this exposure has led to several adoptions and at least one new Shelter volunteer. Thank you Dave and KVEC for your support of our Shelter!
Every few months, NCHS appears for one half hour on the Dick Mason show on KPRL, giving an opportunity to tell the area listening audience about upcoming events, Shelter programs, volunteer opportunities, and, most importantly, our cats! This exposure has been invaluable. KPRL is located at AM 1230.
Special thanks to these radio stations for helping to find good homes for our wonderful cats and raising awareness about North County Humane Society.
